Memories in a fire by ReachingFlames Memories in a fire by ReachingFlames
I got this one on a festival in the French part of Belgium. Everybody was searching for some warmth at the fire, and wainting for the sun to rise and shine upon us. I love this image, becacuse I not only love to look at fire but it also makes me think about my friends and music.

Added a vignet
and oh, several people say I should remove the noise... But I think it's part of the photo, and it's holding a lot of memories too (for me). I love it like how I show it to you now.

I'm not putting my name on my photos because it brakes 'em down and it's more fun to watch it when they are pure.
SO PLEASE respect my works and respect the copyright... I'm a young artist...

Thank you!!

'Memories in a fire' by 'ReachingFlames' for a start, caught my attention in an instant.
After seeing the thumbnail and thinking "Oh, that looks cool", I was drawn to click on it. I was then further surprised when seeing it in full view.

What I really love about this photo, is the feeling that has been captured. I got a hell of a lot of nostalgia from looking at it.
My own memories of festivals came flooding back after seeing this and has made me look even more forward to the ones I'll be at soon.
The feeling really does it for me, but the shot itself it also fantastic.

The crisp focus on the flames compared to the 'noisy' background and silhouettes is really beautiful and the subtle sky creates a lovely border.

Really great job on this photo 'ReachingFlames', it's made my night!

P.s
Shame there's only the possibility of 5 stars for 'Impact', I would have given this 100!

That's great. The flame is like a symbol for friendship among the people...

I'm glad you like the noise! Most people don't.
Fire always looks alive ;)
Thanks!

I also think you are right about signing your name breaks up the photo. I think signatures distract the eye. We're so used to reading everything, our brain seems to automatically want to read more than just enjoy what it sees.

Yeah but it's too bad people steal my photos and pretend they are the makers... These things make me think about putting a copyright on the photo or not...

Because there was only a little of bit light from the sky, I had to use ISO 800. It's visible because of the noise in the photo, but I like it anyways :)
